HOW WE BUILD
Although each project has its own ins and outs to it we stay consistent with how we construct.
We generally build with screws rather than nails for greater durability and overall life of the fence. We always use 2×16 rails, this span adds greater integrity to the fence line. We string each fence-line like it’s our backyard – our process for this will leave you with a straight and plump fence. Post depth is always dug to code with post footings poured on top of pea gravel, which provides better drainage ultimately helping to avoid post rot.
All gate frames and braces are glued and squared up during the assembly process. Intermediate trim screws are installed on all overlapping boards, preventing any future gaps.
We always recommend staining and sealing all new lumber installed after being acclimated to the environment – this adds years onto the material itself. All wood and material is locally sourced from lumber yards, guaranteeing the quality of the material.
